Art

So I have not posted a lot of art on here. Some of you have seen some of my works from my books or older images from deviant art. I figured I would show some now in relation to my prior post.

Earlier works from 2008 or so from my first personal Tarot I made.

Here are some portraits I did around that time

Here is a tattoo I did for the girl in the portrait above in red with a crown of flowers (The wiccan who I did an interview with.)
Now here is some more recent stuff I did for my RPG game

Hope you enjoyed it! I had a suggestion to paint my method which I may work on tomorrow!

    1. I have been sllllloooooooowwwwwllllyy working on a role playing game of my own creation. I had stopped for a while thinking I may just turn it into a comic book, then a friend of mine wanted to do that as well. Then we changed our minds and now it is in limbo lol. I was trying to make an RPG with some magical mythology, something like Lovecraft where it was all fake but could maybe still be used to do magick. The whole thing may just get swalowed by my idea of creating a grimoire/illuminated text.
As always too many ideas too little time lol.

  2. Very cool! Is there a way that I can subscribe to your blog, so that I can keep updated with your posts? I didn't see a tab for that, but I'm not the most internet savvy person either :p Dungeons and Dragons played a big part in my fascination with magic and other possibilities and still does in it's own way. I'm actually going to my friend's house tomorrow and we'll probly wind up playing pathfinder(like another version of DnD with updated rules, same core classes etc,. Looking forward to a possible grimoire from you as well. I already have both versions of your secrets of magic revealed books and your book of power and looking to get the wanderer as well as Telesma soon. You might want to try putting them up on kindle as well, actually. I just put out a natural bodybuilding book on kindle myself and it's giving me some extra consistent income. Then you can promote that a bit to help with finances freeing up more time for yourself. Anyways, that's one of the things I'm doing that's working consistently. Thanks again for writing this blog and your books! They have helped me tremendously already and have opened up new world's of possibility for me :)

    1. I am terrible at the interweb as well. Honestly for the most part I really dread the whole posting and blogging thing which makes no sense for someone who does it. I do it mostly for those comments there, for helping along the path. I couldn't say how to subscribe! Lol. The rpg thing has been on hold for almost 2 years. It was possibly going to be a comic, then that dropped. So it sits and waits for the stars to align right lol.
I am planning on making the last book on the Wanderer series as an extended blog series. The Order it was inspired by is now more a loose group of mages that just talk shop or grab beers now and then. Seems like all thse little plans just don't last long. Nearly all my fault, I just seem to not have it in me to do it any longer. Just posting posts on Tumblr or here now and then. Just doing my work and art seems all I can muster in that regard. Only so many hours and only so much time for myself, friends and family.

  3. Gotcha, man. No pressure, and I'll just check back periodically to see what's new :) As for the dreading posting and whatnot, I feel ya on that...part of me wants to start either a blog on natural bodybuilding(which would help compliment the book) and/or my own magic/alchemy blog with my own experiences on the path so far as well as my recommendations for others as well (including your books, if you don't mind, Bardon's, William Mistelle's and some others), but I keep conveniently forgetting to start the process :p

    1. I think it is a part of magick. The gods of magick are gods of writing. By wotking magick there is the desire to share it. Personally I do it to help the art as a whole grow, there is no personal gain (as in enough to say its worth the time and effort) except to hear you made the work easier for those who pick it up. There is diminishing returns though. When you come to the core of it magick is easy. You can only say the same things a few different ways until you realize those who will get it do, those who won't will not. I say go for it, start a blog about your work! Maybe I can retire if someone picks up the torch lol.

  4. That is true, many gods of magick are gods of writing. I wish everyone could experience magick and realize it's as real as the air we breathe. At least with the blog though I won't waste my breath speaking about it with someone who isn't interested or ready for it yet. Those who seek the information out will find it and hopefully be empowered and helped by it in their own way. It could open up many doors and potentialities for people. I long for a golden age where mankind can/will use their power for their highest good as well as those around them, like a magical justice league lol. I suppose in the meantime, I'll just have to blog it out, and perhaps one day take on an apprentice to watch him/her grow into their greatest self, like the Jedi do it :) I've always liked that mythos. Thanks again Justin. Your wisdom and advice is always appreciated.
