  2. Really beautiful and inspiring work, man. Wll you be publishing these in print form?

I also wanted to thank you on the advice you gave me previously on relaxing during EOM. I think I am getting the hang of it now. I realised, thanks to your suggestions, that previously I was not even doing EOM and was actually doing a form of one-pointed meditation with the focus being "no thoughts" (as odd as that sounds).

I have another question regarding the Soul Mirror work (which is swiftly becoming my favourite part of IIH). I have been working, as per Rawn Clark's suggestion, to find the root trait of items on my Black Soul Mirror (BSM). It turns out that alot of the items on BSM have a similar trait. For example "lack of confidence in social situations" has as its root trait "a feeling of being 'wrong' at a deep level and therefore unloveable". Many root traits seem to be related (such as "fear of abandonment")

My question is, is it OK to have an affirmation which is a little less specific that will cover these realted roor traits. The one I am using is something like "I deeply and completely love and accept myself unconditionally" and it seems to be working better than "I am confident in social situations" as well as loosening the bonds of some of the related traits.

Thanks as always for any help.

    1. Thanks you! They won't be published, but feel free to print them if you like!

Glad to hear about EOM going well! Keep it up! I was actually doing some EOM type work a couple days ago. I was able to work with thoughts as energy and projected my mental body out to observe them moving about me and the room in various ways. I examined them, changed a few through charging and so on. Good times lol.

Why not both? Hit the big broad strokes and go in for the details after. Divide and conquer as it were. Really as long as you are working to better yourself there is no wrong way. Experiment and "play" with the work. It does not have to be tedious work at all. When you make it fun your unconscious is more apt to play along and help!

    1. Move the energy around your body. When you focus on an area you increase blood flow there. You want to circulate the energy which will allow you greater blood flow through the whole body and more control over it.

  5. Can't wait to try these exercises out! I just had some questions: Do we need to banish the energies of the sun and moon after absorbing them for a bit? As that was never mentioned. Also have you heard of people offering to remove chakras? That sounds dangerous to me. What are your thoughts on vegetarianism? I know Bardon says it has no effect on one's spiritual development, yet Rawn Clark talks about karma from eating meat and such. Finally, I don't want to get too graphic, but I'm guessing during the golden flower meditation alchemy, that I should refrain from sexual orgasm( internal/external as much as possible till The transmutation takes place?

    Thanks for any input :)

    1. Hi Nick! No direct banishing of the energy, no. If one is doing regular invoking and banishing rites it is definitely taken care of. If they are not then 3 easy breaths will not overload the system (actually a few more will still not do so) the energy will circulate, be used as needed or fade out. It is not being packed into an organ or tightly in the body so all is good.
I have never heard of removing chakras! I mean for the most part I believe chakras are developed through the imagination and building them up. Much like one does with the tree of life being built into the energy body. There are a couple I believe have pre-existing forms but I will keep it at that.

I am in no way a vegan. I mean I usually get a good salad with my steaks but, other than that, nope! My good friend who pointed me to Bardon happened to be a vegan all his life and we often debated that. We have teeth only meat eating animals have, our eyes are not placed on our head like plant eating animals. We evolved as omnivores. Rawn and I have several things we don't agree on so, its OK lol.

At best for the Golden Flower work experiment and see what works best for you. Everyone is different. Honestly, for maximum health at least have one orgasm a week. This is for good prostate health. By all means I think have more! But try it out and see if you can tell a difference. I have done a few months with no orgasm and did it with orgasms as often as I could. What I found was waiting an hour or two before or after having one and energy was right back to par.

      Good magick to you Nick!

    2. Thanks Justin! Just making sure on the breathing exercises cuz I've over did them in the past and paid for it :p That's interesting you feel that way about the chakras. When I first started really dedicating myself to meditation, I began to get a buzzing sensation feeling like it was coming down from up above which continued to descend and congest first in my third eye area, then to my throat and would end at my chest( all this without trying to make anything special happen except concentrate on stilling my mind and paying attention to the vibrations once they started and without knowing anything about chakras or knowing where they should be on/in the body at the time ) The vibrations got so strong, that it actually felt like someone was tapping on those energy centers, so I would open my eyes to see if I could see someone in front of me! I definitely felt like I was being watched while this was going on as well. I was also doing the I AM violet flame meditation during that time as well and that seemed to trigger these vibrations.

I was actually doing vegetarianism at that time as well as that's what the books recommended I do, but I really missed meat and kept dreaming about that being the only thing to eat in the fridge. I also lost a lot of weight to the point where people I knew asking me if I was sick, was tired almost all the time(but I did mostly meditation so that could have been why) I did it for about three months and it felt weird when I went back to it at first stomach wise and the books were pretty dogmatic about it. I feel better now that I am on a more well balanced diet now. Weston Price, who was a DDS, did many studies on diet and malnutrition and found consistently that animal fats were very important for the vitamins we need to get for healthy strong bones and teeth. Especially fermented cod liver oil, liver, bone broth, grass-fed cow butter. Going on his protocols many people were able to remineralize there teeth and bones and get rid of various illnesses and imbalances in their bodies and minds. If you haven't heard of him, you might want to check him out or tell your friend about the studies if it's wise :)

Thanks for the info on orgasm energy! It's great to know someone else who has experimented and their findings :) When I first heard about qigong and the taoist's beliefs on sexual energy and there belief of not being able to get back the energy you've lost and how they thought that it shortened your lifespan and health by expending this energy, I tried to furiously to control, manipulate, suppress, deny it as long as I could( not to mention the condemnation from my religious upbringing didn't help) Once I got to a certain point, it only seemed to imbalance me more and make me angry, irritable, lose my thirst for life etc. Something inside kept telling me it's always about the quality of energy that's important, not the quantity, but I wouldn't listen for the longest time, I was too used to being a perfectionist and strict with myself. Granted I don't abuse my newfound licence either, but it's nice to know I can just be me :)

      Thanks again buddy.

    3. Hey Nick!

Sorry for the late reply, just noticed the notification in my email!

I believe there are energy centers, but if you check out the oldest of sources about chakras you see they varied depending on the "school". Some had four, some much much more! I think a lot of it depends on what influences you get in magick. There are magickal currents in every belief system and as one swims in that stream they can pick up information that is later unpacked and seen as "revealed" or "discovered" info. I have definitely seen it with Golden Dawn material! Others are fairly universal. The genitals, the stomach and heart, the head. With those we have certain ideas related to them from a very young age that can easily be amped up once occult ideas attach themselves to it.

I would let my friend know but he is in a place where he no longer requires physical food and drink to survive. He passed a couple years back (unrelated to his diet).

I think one of the worst things you can do is get negative thoughts associated with any natural process of the body. Treat it well but do not give into every demand, take care of your meat ride and it will last longer! Just like any other vehicle.

Good on you for not buying into the dogma, yet still experimenting to see if it works. We need more mages like you, treat it like a science and perform it like an art!

    4. I hear what your saying about the chakras. I've noticed this as well depending on the system, similar, but not exactly the same number or places associated with the energy centers of the body.

I hope your friend passed in peace and is still conscious(if that's what he wants) :)

Unfortunately I bought into the dogma for a long time and have been working on making peace with my inner demons now, but I'm thankful that I know better from now on \m/
Thanks for the compliment. I used to take everything at face value, but the more I study and work with magic, the more I realize I can't make accurate observations by going into something with preconceived thoughts from others based on their truths. We all must find our own. So Bardon was right when he called magic the highest science because we are all scientists(if we're not armchair magicians) conducting experiments to find the answers to ourselves, the universe, alchemy, taking certain steps to achieve certain results or testing them out if you will.

    5. He did not sadly, but I have chatted with him since to check on him. He seems to be doing fine. Thanks

      Right on man!
Sorry for the answer delay, I have not been getting the notifications it seems. I had two other comments in the queue as well. Yikes!

    1. Interesting video. I myself would never recommend making a "pact" with any spirit but that is just me. I have long had a respect for the few Satanist I have known as they always seemed a bit more free in their beliefs and had more critical thinking skills (the ones I have met) and one of my patron spirits is Prometheus, who is sort of a Greek stand in for a devil figure if you read it correctly. If you get a chance study what the Hebrews thought of Satan. He was not some powerful dark force, he was more of g*d's prosecuting attorney just doing his job.

  7. Hi again Justin,

I hope I may pick your brain on a Bardon related matter.

I have recently moved to Step 3 of Bardon's IIH and have started accumulating the Fire element. Since I started I have had bouts of what might be described as feelings joy and elation later followed by some depression (which lasts longer than the feelings of joy unfortunately). Is it possible this is related to the fire element pore breathing?

I thought I had done a pretty OK job on the elemental equilibrium, but it seems this is not the case. Would you recommend abandoning the elemental pore breathing and going back to work on my soul mirrors. Or is it best to continue with the elemental pore breathing while I work on the new black sul mirror traits that come up?

Any other suggestions or advice you could give me would be much appreciated.

    Ben

    1. A lot of this will be your judgement, since you know yourself better. if you want to play it safe I say review your journal and see what your thought observations were at the time (that is one of the best ways to mine soul mirror fodder really) It may have just been life situations at the time that lead to the imbalances. If all that is clear and nothing weird shows itself, then assume it is the fire element. You could have raised your light energy through the fire element which can cause joy. This either wore your system out due to not being acclimated to such levels of light, or it could have attracted magnetic energy drawing you down. Make sure you are banishing the element completely when you are done with the accumulation. It is like weight lifting you don't want to max and and not cool down. Actually you should probably not be trying to max out if you want to do it right, slow and steady wins the race. Take a few days off and hang out in nature to get balanced out. Then take a couple of counts off your last pore breathing count. Wait a day and make sure you journal-ize well to see any imbalance. Then go to soul mirror and tinker as you see fit.

  8. Thanks, Justin. Will do.

On the subject of elememtal pore breathing, I know that Rawn suggests working with one element (Fire) until the exercise is mastered, then adding the next element.

Would you agree that this is the best way to go about it? Or is it better to switch between elements on a daily basis? My concern is that, spending more time initially on the Fire element, will tend to produce imbalance in the direction of the fire element.

    Thanks again

    Ben

    1. Always trust your gut. If you feel it is a problem then go to another element. You can even start on the earth element, move to water, air then fire. That could give you time to work on your fire issue.
Probably best best is just start with a smaller accumulation of fire, one that will not cause you problems. Tweak your practice as you see fit then.

  9. So what first led me to practicing magick was my strong desire to accomplish a particular goal. I am a very goal oriented person, and I'm all about making my dreams come true. Everyday, for years now, I've been developing my will and imagination for this, and I've come very far. However, throughout all these years, I still haven't been able to accomplish the goal that led me to magick in the first place. It isn't even a difficult goal for most people to accomplish, yet I have so much trouble with it. Sometimes, I’ll burn out and consider throwing in the towel out of frustration, but I end up raging on. I really just want to accomplish this damn thing, so I can just move on with my life. The weird thing is, I have no problem producing results when I do magick for other things, but with this particular goal, I can’t even produce an inkling of a result. It makes me wonder what I’m doing wrong. Again, I've reached the point where I want to stop trying, but I know I'm going to go right back at it again.

Sorry, but I just needed to vent lol. I'm sure you've been through something similar. Any advice?

    1. Magick is like any skill, you break your goal up into smaller steps which lead to the final result. I think of it lile weight lifting. You don't max out the machine your first go. You need to develop your muscles properly to achieve the goal.
Some things will just be out of reach, but some physical world goals are out of reach for some people, some for all people.
Look at your life, your talents, your world and see what things you are good and excel at. Use that as a springboard to greater things through your magick.

I have a decent skill in a few things, great skill in one or two tasks and I am terrible at the vast majority of possible skills. I use what I have to do the best that I can. I recommend the same for anyone.

  10. I have been practice your exercise on awareness for about 6 days.I feel imrovement with each day.But when I asked my awareness about color,it's so vague.I moved my awareness to my hand and then asked and allow answer to come, then i can feel a color, then it change to other color.Sometime even I see a flash of mixed colors.I can only see a clear color once. How do I know if these color are real or just my imagine,or what color is true if it appear to change?

    1. First off, great job keep it up!
This exercise IS imagination, allow your imagination to work. Colors will change, you will feel all sorts of things, allow it! Your imagination can be woken up to be a potent force! Allow it to move, direct it as you will, learn what it shows you!
